One qubit, then two, then connect them
You measure one qubit, then you change it with X and with Hadamard. The bars are what that measurement counted. Leave the measurement out and you read the amplitudes, including the sign Z writes. Then you add a second qubit and connect the two.
Three labels sit under the question. The paragraphs open only when your choice matches the bars. Change a gate and run again. Hover a word in the listing and the page names the call. Hover a bar and it names the probability.

By the end you can write from qiskit import QuantumCircuit, then qc.x, qc.h, qc.z, and qc.cx, and read an amplitude, a probability, and a count. The run is a simulation of the circuit you wrote.

Where Quantum Tycoon starts
This is the first Quantum Tycoon course. It gives you the gates, the bars and the Bell pair that the later courses build on.
Stop between sections and come back to the same place. Monthly and yearly both include these twelve sections.
Questions
What if it is not for me?
Use the withdrawal form or email info@quantumzeitgeist.com within 14 days of buying, and you get a full refund. You do not need to give a reason.
Do I need to install anything?
No. The editor is in the page. Press Run and our server runs your listing in Qiskit, then sends back the bars and the amplitudes.
Is this a real quantum computer?
No. Each run is an exact simulation of the circuit you wrote, up to 16 qubits and 4,096 shots. That is enough for every section, and the answer does not drift with hardware noise.
How much do I need to know first?
You should be able to read a short Python listing and follow a function call. You do not need linear algebra. The course shows the numbers each gate produces and asks you to read them.
How do I get in after I pay?
Gumroad emails a receipt with a licence key. Open the course, press Run, and paste the key. Your browser then stays signed in, and the site checks the membership with Gumroad once a day.
Can I use it on another device?
Yes. Paste the same key on the new device. The sections you have passed are saved in each browser, so the ticks do not follow you to a new one yet.
I lost my licence key
Sign in at gumroad.com/library with the email you paid with. The key is on the course's page there, and in your receipt email.
How many times can I press Run?
Members get up to 30 runs an hour and 200 a day, one at a time. A section takes a handful of runs, so the limits only stop scripts.
How do I cancel, or ask for a refund?
Cancel any time from your Gumroad library or receipt. No more payments are taken, and the course stays open until the end of the period you paid for. If you change your mind within 14 days of buying, or of a yearly renewal, use the withdrawal form and you get all your money back. The terms have the details.
Is tax included in the price?
No. Prices are in US dollars. Gumroad sells the membership as merchant of record and adds any sales tax, VAT or GST due where you live. Checkout shows the total before you pay.
